Over a period of years we worked on developing and refining OAL's business logo design, and corporate typeface. They wanted a sharp retro computer font unique to their company so we developed and designed the ultra low-bandwidth Octopus font for them. As a result we developed a corporate style that has worked superbly well in printed material and in their online presence.
The design was inspired by technology - the technology of making graphics use as little memory as possible whilst retaining a totally clean look and feel. A particularly nice feature of this website is the randomised negative video stills used to maintain a freshness to the look of the website upon each refresh.
